Mai has been living in California, USA since 2004. Despite a humble start in the US, over the years, she advanced her career as an Accounting and Finance executive in real estate development, construction and capital investments.

She married into a Commercial Real Estate Investment/Development family but has established her own business ventures, as well, starting from a CPA consulting practice that kicked off  during the recession of 2009, then Great Real Estate Deals in 2015 where she sponsors and invests on residential real estate deals (started in Philippines properties) and talks about real estate investments. Recently, she just launched a home goods online store “Maine and Oxford” to complement her taste for homes and home designs. She often blogs and posts about real estate and home goods.

She sponsors scholarships and donates for educational and “help-a hand” causes. She is a devoted community leader/supporter (she is the founding president and supporter of ISFFA-San Francisco Chapter, a Filipino accounting and finance organization) and supports other local advocacy and business groups.
