“The role of a writer is not to say what we can all say, but what we cannot say.”
It is said that the most important qualities to have as a writer/author wanting to write a book include critical thinking, patience, discipline in writing, talent and most importantly creativity. Even if others or you think you don’t have enough talent to be successful, you shouldn’t doubt, because creative writing is a skill that can be learned. It might take a long time to master your instrument – writing – but once you have it, it’s already done. The good thing is everyone can become an author or a writer. Even those who weren’t good in school are now world-renowned authors/writers or maybe even winners of the Nobel Prize in Literature.
Donna Avellana Künzler will be one of the guests in the webinar “In conversation with Filipino book authors in Europe – from idea to publication” where various Filipino book authors will share their experiences in writing their own book(s). Some questions that are going to be tackled are: How do you come up with a book idea? What is the writing process like? When do you say the book is finished? What role does Filipino culture or your experiences as a Filipino play in the stories? The panelists come from all over Europe (Switzerland, UK, Germany, Serbia).
Link to the webinar will be published on the FB event page.
