I am very happy to announce that I have joined Breaking Silence Movement as a Member of the Board of Directors.

“Breaking Silence Movement is a multinational, private, not for profit, 100% volunteer-led organization that engages in gender-based violence programming (prevention & response) and risk mitigation, with headquarters based in Paris, France, and partners in Switzerland and the USA. Our main beneficiaries are initially located Philippines and now continuously expanding to other regions in Africa, South East Asia, Europe and Latin America.”

Its mission is to provide growth, empowerment & economic opportunity to GBV survivors through reintegration programs such as educational and employment initiatives, as well as creating a multimedia channel that serves as a source of information on GBV.

Since taking part in BSM’s Digital Literacy Program last year, I was deeply moved by my experience of engaging with the survivors of gender-based violence. I strongly believe in what BSM stands for: “to drive towards making progress accessible to one of the most overlooked parts of the society – the GBV survivors.
